BBC Music Magazine Awards 2025 – Voting Terms and Conditions

1. The awards are organised by Our Media Limited (Company No. 05715415), whose registered office is Eagle House, Colston Avenue, Bristol BS1 4ST (the “Promoter”).
2. Voting complies with the BBC’s Code of Conduct, available at BBC Editorial Guidelines – Code of Conduct.
3. By casting a vote, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
4. Voting will be open from 00:00 on 23 January 2025 and close at 23:59 on 28 February 2025. Votes submitted outside this timeframe will not be counted.
5. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday, 23 April 2025, at King’s Place, London and published on the BBC Music Magazine website.
6. This is not a competition; there are no prizes for participants or for any of the shortlisted recordings.
7. Votes can be cast through the BBC Music Magazine website. The voting page will present nine categories, each featuring three shortlisted recordings. Participants can select one recording per category by clicking their preferred option. Votes must be submitted by clicking the box beside the selected recording.
8. Each person is allowed to vote once per category. Any attempt to manipulate the voting process, such as using automated systems, will result in immediate disqualification.
9. If technical issues or system failures occur, the Promoter may suspend voting temporarily or implement contingency measures. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost or improperly registered votes due to technical problems.
10. Winners in each category will be determined solely by the number of public votes received. The editorial team of BBC Music Magazine will then select the Recording of the Year from among the category winners. Public votes will not influence this final decision.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Awards without prior notice if unforeseen circumstances arise or events beyond its control occur.
12. By participating in the voting process, participants consent to the collection and processing of their personal data in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. This includes details on how data will be handled and stored.
