Adam Szabo
Chief Executive and Co-Founder, Manchester Collective
Adam Szabo is the Chief Executive and co-founder of Manchester Collective, founded in 2016. Known for its experimental programming and daring collaborations, the Manchester Collective has played in concert halls, warehouses and nightclubs across the UK and beyond. It has commissioned new works by composers including Edmund Finnis and Hannah Peel and in 2021 made its BBC Proms debut. Prior to his work with the Collective, Szabo was a professional cellist, working as Guest Principal with the likes of the Welsh National Opera, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra of Opera North.
