Twenty-three tracks by one of the best of the early Chicago white bands. Amid a certain amount of dated corn are some fine ensembles and impressive soloists for their time, best sampled on ‘Somebody’s Wrong!’ and ‘Cotton Pickers’ Ball’. It’s good, hot stuff, still worth listening to. RC
