Ever seen a penguin play a pipe organ? Well there’s a first time for everything! And that time has come, well, sort of. The new teaser trailer for Aardman Animations’ Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl dropped this week, and it’s dominated by JS Bach’s mighty Toccata & Fugue in D minor. But it isn’t any old performance, this one comes from the dexterous flippers of Feathers McGraw himself.
Last time we saw Feathers, he was thrown in jail (or indeed a Zoo) after his diamond heist using The Wrong Trousers. He’s done his time, though, and has vengeance on his mind.
Bach’s mighty Toccata & Fugue is given the epic trailer music treatment, adorned with cinematic heft, faux strings and choir. There’s solo organ, too, of course and sight of a beautifully crafted instrument by the Aardman modelmakers. Feathers is at the console, replete with his rubber glove chicken disguise. A ‘fowl’ villain indeed.
It’s a much anticipated return for the beloved animated inventor and his dog, and the Bach-ridden teaser trailer has certainly whetted our appetite.

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl features music by the franchise’s original composer Julian Nott and Hollywood maestro Lorne Balfe (His Dark Materials, Top Gun: Maverick). The pair worked together on the film, which features familiar themes from past adventures and a host of new music.
