These gem-like oboe quartets by Mozart’s Bohemian friend are well worth hearing. In the terrific Presto from the First Quartet the playing is piquant and varied, and in the lovely Mozartian Andante from the Sixth it is plangent, though lacking in sensuousness. Anthony Pryer
